Service Terms

Last updated: 28 August 2026

These Service Terms govern the use of MyThaiAddress and its services, including our Bangkok receiving address, mail and parcel receiving, document scanning, parcel holding, luggage and belongings storage, pickup, forwarding, and related services.

By registering for an account, purchasing a membership, or using any MyThaiAddress service, you agree to these Service Terms.

1. MyThaiAddress Service

MyThaiAddress provides members with access to a physical receiving location in Bangkok where eligible mail and parcels may be received on their behalf.

Additional services, including document scanning, extended parcel holding, luggage storage, pickup, and domestic or international forwarding, may also be available.

The exact services included in a membership are shown on our website at the time of purchase.

2. Membership

Customers may choose from the membership plans currently offered on our website.

Prices and membership benefits may change from time to time. Changes will not normally affect a membership period that has already been paid for unless otherwise required by law or agreed with the customer.

3. Use of Your Bangkok Address

An active member may use the MyThaiAddress address provided to them for receiving eligible personal mail and parcels.

The address is a receiving service. It does not constitute the customer's residence, domicile, tenancy, office, place of employment, or ownership or occupancy of the premises.

Customers must not represent that they live at, own, rent, or occupy the MyThaiAddress premises.

Unless specifically approved by MyThaiAddress, the address must not be used as a registered company address, registered office, official business establishment, or for purposes requiring proof of residence or physical occupancy.

The address must not be used for any illegal, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or unauthorized activity.

MyThaiAddress may refuse or terminate use of the address if we reasonably believe it is being misused.

4. Customer Identification and Account Information

Customers must provide accurate and current information when registering.

We may request identification or other reasonable verification before activating certain services or before releasing, scanning, storing, or forwarding an item.

The name appearing on incoming mail or parcels should correspond to the customer or another recipient specifically authorized under the customer's account.

Customers are responsible for keeping their contact information current.

5. Receiving Mail and Parcels

MyThaiAddress may receive ordinary mail and eligible parcels addressed to active members.

When an item is received and identified, we will normally notify the customer through the contact method or customer account provided by the service.

Receiving an item does not mean that MyThaiAddress has inspected, verified, or accepted responsibility for its contents.

We reserve the right to refuse an item because of its size, weight, contents, condition, packaging, legal restrictions, safety concerns, delivery requirements, or other reasonable operational considerations.

6. Parcel Holding

Eligible parcels received for an active member include 30 days of complimentary holding, beginning on the date the parcel is received by MyThaiAddress.

After the complimentary holding period, the published extended-storage fee applies.

After the complimentary 30-day holding period, extended parcel holding is charged at the published rate per parcel for each additional 30-day period. Each additional 30-day period is charged as a full period and is not prorated.

7. Mail and Document Scanning

Membership includes scanning of up to the published quantity.

Additional scanning is available at the published rate.

Scanning is performed upon the customer's request or according to options specifically selected by the customer.

By requesting scanning, the customer authorizes MyThaiAddress personnel to open and handle the relevant envelope or document as reasonably necessary to perform the requested service.

Unused included scanning pages do not accumulate from month to month unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. Luggage and Belongings Storage

Luggage and belongings storage is an optional add-on service and is not included in the standard membership fee.

Current standard luggage storage rates are as published.

A standard suitcase must comply with the size and weight limits published on our website.

Oversized, unusually heavy, high-value, fragile, or unusual belongings require prior approval and may be subject to different fees or conditions.

Each storage period begins when the item is checked in and is charged according to the applicable storage period.

9. Pickup

Customers may collect eligible mail, parcels, luggage, or belongings from our Bangkok location by appointment.

Customers should arrange an appointment before arriving.

MyThaiAddress may require identification or other verification before releasing an item.

Items will only be released to the customer or to another person specifically authorized by the customer and accepted by MyThaiAddress.

Outstanding storage or service charges may need to be paid before items are released.

10. Forwarding Within Thailand

Customers may request eligible mail or parcels to be forwarded to another address within Thailand. The current forwarding service fee is as published, plus actual shipping charges.

Additional packing, insurance, special handling, or other third-party charges may apply where necessary.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate forwarding address.

11. International Forwarding

International forwarding may be requested for eligible items.

The current service fee is as published, plus actual international shipping charges.

Additional costs may include packaging, insurance, customs charges, duties, taxes, handling charges, or other fees imposed by carriers, governments, or third parties.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that an item can legally be imported into its destination country.

MyThaiAddress cannot guarantee customs clearance, delivery times, or acceptance by foreign postal, courier, or customs authorities.

12. Forwarding and Third-Party Carriers

Once an item has been handed to a postal service, courier, freight company, or other carrier, transportation and delivery are subject to that provider's terms and conditions.

MyThaiAddress is not the carrier.

We are not responsible for delays, loss, damage, customs actions, unsuccessful delivery, incorrect routing by a carrier, or other events occurring after an item has been properly handed to the selected delivery provider, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Customers should consider purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items.

13. Prohibited or Restricted Items

Customers must not send to, deliver to, or store with MyThaiAddress items that are illegal or unsafe.

This may include, without limitation:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Weapons, ammunition or explosives
  • Flammable or hazardous materials
  • Toxic or dangerous substances
  • Illegal or stolen goods
  • Live animals
  • Perishable items requiring special storage
  • Items that may cause injury, contamination, odor, infestation, or damage
  • Items prohibited by Thai law
  • Items prohibited by the relevant postal service or courier
  • Items that cannot legally be exported from Thailand or imported into the destination country

MyThaiAddress may refuse, isolate, return, surrender to appropriate authorities, or otherwise handle prohibited or dangerous items as reasonably necessary and as permitted or required by law.

14. Cash-on-Delivery and Payment-on-Delivery Items

Unless expressly agreed in advance, MyThaiAddress does not undertake to pay cash-on-delivery charges, customs charges, duties, taxes, delivery fees, or other amounts demanded when receiving an item.

Customers should arrange payment directly with the seller, courier, or relevant provider whenever possible.

We may refuse deliveries requiring payment.

15. Membership Expiration or Cancellation

When a membership expires or is cancelled, the customer's right to use the MyThaiAddress address for new incoming items ends.

Cancellation or expiration does not automatically dispose of items already held by MyThaiAddress.

Customers remain responsible for arranging pickup, forwarding, or other authorized handling of their remaining items.

16. Items Remaining After Membership Ends

Customers should arrange pickup or forwarding of their remaining mail, parcels, luggage, and belongings before their membership ends or as soon as reasonably possible afterward.

MyThaiAddress may continue to make the customer's account available on a limited basis after membership expiration so the customer can manage items already held, make payments, or request pickup or forwarding.

This does not extend the customer's right to receive new mail or parcels.

Items remaining after membership expiration may be subject to the applicable storage or holding fees.

Before an item is released or forwarded, the customer may be required to pay all outstanding storage, forwarding, shipping, handling, membership, or other applicable charges.

17. Unclaimed Items

If a customer does not provide pickup or forwarding instructions, MyThaiAddress may attempt to contact the customer using the contact information registered with the account.

For parcels, luggage, and belongings, items remaining unclaimed for 90 days after the membership ends may be considered abandoned after reasonable attempts have been made to contact the customer.

Subject to applicable law, MyThaiAddress may then return, dispose of, donate, recycle, or otherwise handle the items as reasonably appropriate.

Ordinary mail and documents may be subject to a shorter retention period. Unless otherwise required by law, MyThaiAddress may return, securely dispose of, or otherwise handle unclaimed ordinary mail remaining 30 days after membership expiration, following reasonable efforts to notify the customer where appropriate.

MyThaiAddress does not guarantee indefinite storage of any item after membership expiration.

Any storage, return, disposal, transportation, or other costs reasonably incurred may remain the customer's responsibility where permitted by law.

18. Requests Made After Membership Expiration

A customer may request pickup or forwarding after membership expiration provided that MyThaiAddress still holds the item and the applicable retention period has not expired.

The customer does not necessarily need to purchase a new membership merely to retrieve an existing item.

However, all applicable storage, handling, forwarding, postage, courier, or other outstanding charges must be paid before the item is released or dispatched.

Reactivating membership may be required if the customer wishes to resume receiving new mail or parcels.

19. Items Received After Membership Expiration

MyThaiAddress is not obligated to accept items arriving after the customer's membership has expired.

Such deliveries may be refused or returned to the sender.

If MyThaiAddress inadvertently or exceptionally accepts an item after membership expiration, applicable handling and storage fees may apply. Acceptance of such an item does not automatically reactivate the customer's membership.

20. Valuable and Fragile Items

Customers should not use MyThaiAddress to store exceptionally valuable, irreplaceable, fragile, or sensitive property without prior written agreement.

Customers are responsible for appropriately packaging items intended for storage or forwarding.

Customers should not store items with a value exceeding ฿5,000 without obtaining prior written approval from MyThaiAddress.

MyThaiAddress may recommend or require insurance for certain shipments.

21. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account and contact information
  • Maintaining access to their registered email or other notification method
  • Monitoring arrival notifications
  • Providing accurate recipient and forwarding information
  • Paying applicable fees
  • Collecting or forwarding items within the applicable periods
  • Ensuring items comply with applicable laws
  • Ensuring items comply with courier and customs requirements
  • Properly declaring items for international shipments
  • Not using the MyThaiAddress address for unauthorized purposes

Failure to receive or read a notification does not automatically extend a storage period.

22. Service Fees

Current membership, storage, scanning, forwarding, and other service fees are displayed on our website.

Additional services are charged separately from membership unless expressly stated otherwise.

Third-party expenses such as postage, courier fees, insurance, customs duties and taxes are not included in MyThaiAddress service fees unless expressly stated.

23. Payment

Customers are responsible for paying membership fees and additional service charges when due.

MyThaiAddress may require payment before performing an additional service, releasing stored property, or arranging forwarding.

Where recurring billing is offered and selected by the customer, charges will be processed according to the billing arrangement disclosed at purchase.

24. Cancellation and Refunds

Customers may cancel a recurring membership according to the cancellation options provided through their account or by contacting MyThaiAddress.

Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not normally refund a membership period that has already begun, except where required by law or expressly agreed by MyThaiAddress.

Fees for services already performed, storage periods already started, postage purchased, courier services arranged, or other costs already incurred are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

25. Suspension or Termination

MyThaiAddress may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Non-payment
  • Suspected fraud
  • Illegal activity
  • Misuse of the address
  • Prohibited items
  • False or misleading information
  • Threatening or abusive conduct toward staff
  • Serious or repeated violation of these Service Terms
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

Termination does not remove the customer's responsibility for outstanding fees or items already stored.

Where reasonably possible and legally permitted, customers will be given an opportunity to arrange the collection or forwarding of legitimate items remaining with us.

26. Responsibility for Customer Property and Limitation of Liability

MyThaiAddress will exercise reasonable care in receiving, handling, storing, scanning, and preparing customers' mail, parcels, luggage, and belongings for collection or forwarding.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that items delivered to or stored with MyThaiAddress are appropriately packed and suitable for ordinary handling and storage. Customers should not store exceptionally valuable, fragile, irreplaceable, or sensitive items with MyThaiAddress without obtaining our prior written agreement.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MyThaiAddress will not be responsible for loss, damage, deterioration, delay, or other loss resulting from:

  • inadequate or unsuitable packaging;
  • ordinary wear and tear;
  • the fragile, perishable, defective, or inherent nature of an item;
  • inaccurate information or instructions provided by the customer;
  • acts or omissions of postal operators, couriers, shipping companies, customs authorities, or other independent third parties;
  • customs inspection, seizure, delay, duties, import or export restrictions;
  • events outside MyThaiAddress's reasonable control, including fire, flood, natural disaster, civil disturbance, government action, building emergencies, or other force majeure events; or
  • a customer's failure to collect, forward, renew storage, or otherwise provide instructions within the applicable period.

Once an item has been properly handed to a postal operator, courier, shipping company, or other carrier at the customer's request, responsibility for transportation is subject to the carrier's applicable terms, conditions, and liability arrangements.

Where loss of or damage to an item is directly caused by MyThaiAddress's failure to exercise reasonable care, MyThaiAddress's liability will, to the extent permitted by applicable law, be limited to the reasonable value of the affected item at the time of loss or damage, subject to a maximum of ฿5,000 per item or incident, whichever is lower.

The customer may be required to provide reasonable evidence of ownership and value when making a claim.

MyThaiAddress will not be liable for sentimental value, loss of opportunity, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or other indirect or consequential loss, to the extent such exclusions are permitted by applicable law.

Customers storing or forwarding items of significant value are responsible for informing MyThaiAddress in advance and obtaining appropriate insurance where available.

Nothing in these Service Terms excludes or limits any liability, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Thai law.

27. Service Availability

Although we aim to provide reliable service, uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.

Services may occasionally be affected by holidays, building access, emergencies, courier disruptions, technical problems, government action, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may temporarily modify operating procedures when reasonably necessary.

28. Notifications

MyThaiAddress may communicate with customers through email, the customer dashboard, telephone, messaging services, or other contact methods provided by the customer.

Customers are responsible for keeping their contact information current.

An arrival notification is provided as a convenience and does not change the applicable holding or storage period.

29. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the MyThaiAddress Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.

Certain services necessarily require us to process information appearing on parcels, mail, identification documents, forwarding instructions, scanned documents, and customer communications.

Customers requesting document scanning authorize the handling necessary to perform that service.

30. Changes to Prices and Services

MyThaiAddress may change future membership plans, service features, operating procedures, and additional-service prices.

Current prices will be displayed on our website or communicated before the relevant service is ordered.

Where appropriate, significant changes affecting existing memberships will be communicated to customers.

31. Changes to These Service Terms

We may update these Service Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, pricing, or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on our website with the date of the most recent update.

32. Governing Law

These Service Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.

Any dispute relating to the services will be handled in accordance with applicable Thai law and the jurisdiction of the competent Thai courts, subject to any consumer rights that cannot legally be restricted.
